The delegation included: Comrade Le Minh Hung, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Comrade General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defence; Comrade General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security; Comrade Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Comrade Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Office; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy; Lieutenant General Vu Trung Kien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Border Guard; together with leaders of the Government, the National Assembly, and members of the Party Central Committee.
Representing Dak Lak provincial leadership were Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province; and representatives of local authorities, residents and pupils of Ia Lop commune.
Ea H’Leo Border Guard Station is stationed in Ia Lop commune, managing a border stretch of nearly 7 km and including boundary marker No. 41. The local area has over 1,800 households and more than 6,500 people from 15 ethnic groups. The local household poverty rate currently remains above 54%.
The delegation heard a report from the station's command on the unit's notable results in 2025 in managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security, and on preparations for the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026. In 2025, the unit maintained close monitoring of internal and cross-border situations to adopt appropriate measures in border protection. Specifically, the unit deployed 575 patrol teams and 3,386 officers and soldiers for patrols and checkpoints to safeguard the border line and boundary markers. Duty rosters were strictly maintained to ensure personnel and equipment were ready for combat in any situation.
In addition, the unit actively consolidated political foundations and promoted socio-economic development in the border area. The station implemented numerous programs and livelihoods to help residents reduce poverty and raise living standards sustainably. Notably, in 2025, the unit mobilized forces to construct four solidarity houses valued at VND 340 million. The unit also coordinated with local authorities to effectively implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing all 268 houses into use with total funding of VND 5.9 billion. Furthermore, the station mobilized VND 100 million to repair one kindergarten site and maintained a military-civil medical station to provide care for 210 local residents, along with many other social welfare activities.
Regarding Tet preparations, the unit developed plans to ensure proper care for soldiers. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities were organized to create a joyful atmosphere so that officers and soldiers can welcome the New Year with the spirit of "Enjoy the New Year without neglecting duties". For local residents, the unit coordinated with local authorities to organize the "Warm Border Spring" program with practical social welfare activities to care for disadvantaged people in the area.
