On the afternoon of May 19, in Tuy Hoa Ward, the Organizing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Technical Innovation Contest held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony for the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2024-2025) to honor authors and groups of authors with outstanding innovative solutions that have high practical application value in production and daily life.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, the leadership of the Department of Science and Technology presented flowers to congratulate the Closing and Awarding Ceremony for the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2024-2025.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest attracted 249 authors and co-authors with a total of 85 solutions across six fields, including: Information Technology - Electronics Telecommunications; Mechanics - Construction - Transportation; Materials - Chemicals - Energy; Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and Environmental Protection; Medicine and Pharmacy; Education and Training, and other fields.
Many solutions were evaluated as having high novelty, creativity, and practical application efficiency, focusing on the local strengths such as specialty coffee processing, artificial intelligence applications, IoT technology in production and management, modern medical techniques, smart education, and high-tech agriculture.

The Organizing Committee of the contest awarded First Prizes to authors and groups of authors with outstanding solutions in the Dak Lak Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2024 - 2025.
After a rigorous, objective, and scientific evaluation process, the Organizing Committee decided to award 46 prizes for outstanding solutions. Among them, the Eastern region had 20 winning solutions, including 10 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes; the Western region had 26 winning solutions, including 2 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes, and 14 Consolation Prizes.
The two First Prizes of the contest were awarded to the solution "Research and development of a process for processing specialty ROBUSTA coffee using yeast supplementation in Dak Lak" by Dak Lak September 2nd Import-Export Company Limited and the solution "Application of laser lithotripsy through a transhepatic tunnel in the treatment of bile duct stones at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital".

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee acknowledged and commended the scientific research and creative labor spirit of the authors and groups of authors participating in the contest. It also affirmed that the award-winning solutions this year not only have scientific value but also hold high practical significance, contributing to promoting innovation, improving labor productivity, product quality, and management efficiency in the locality.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organization and communication efforts; simultaneously, it launched the First Dak Lak Provincial Technical Innovation Contest for the 2026 - 2027 period.
