The delegation visited the Co Thach Hill area in Tuy An Dong Commune; the Hon Yen scenic site in Nhon Hoi Hamlet, O Loan Commune; and surveyed the community tourism model associated with traditional fishing in Long Thuy Fishing Village, Binh Kien Ward.
At the destinations, the delegation listened to representatives from local authorities, management units, and tourism households introduce the potential, advantages, current state of tourism exploitation, as well as the challenges and obstacles in developing community tourism products.
Through the on-site surveys, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the potential and advantages of natural landscapes, culture, ecology, and community life at the tourism sites. He emphasized that community tourism development must be linked to preserving indigenous values, protecting the environment, maintaining the landscape, and promoting the central role of local residents.
