On the occasion of Vesak Day 2026 , on the morning of May 31, a provincial delegation led by Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and extended greetings to Most Venerable Thich Tam Thuy, Standing Member of the Certification Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and Honorary Member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, at Huong Son Pagoda, Phu Hoa 2 Commune.
The delegation included Comrade Phuc Binh Nie Kdam,Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Departments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee; as well as relevant departments, sectors, and localities.

In the solemn and warm atmosphere of Vesak Day, Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inquired about the health of Most Venerable Thich Tam Thuy and conveyed the best wishes to the monks, nuns, and Buddhists for a peaceful, joyful, and happy Vesak Day.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Do Huu Huy acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, along with the monks, nuns, and Buddhists, in patriotic emulation movements, charitable and humanitarian activities, care for the poor, and social welfare initiatives in the locality.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that in the coming time, religious dignitaries, monks, and nuns will continue to uphold the fine traditions of Vietnamese Buddhism, effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, humanitarian and charitable activities, environmental protection, and the building of cultural life in residential areas. He affirmed that the provincial Party Committee and government always pay attention to and create favorable conditions for religious organizations to operate in accordance with the law, meeting the legitimate spiritual needs of the people and contributing to promoting the cultural and ethical values of religion in social life.
