On October 6, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a meeting under the chair of Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Ha to discuss the plan for preparations and implementation of the Tourism Program “Heritage Journey” at the 6th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in combination with Central Highland’s Gong Culture Festival in 2017.

On October 4, the delegation of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Action Aid Vietnam (AAV) had a meeting with representatives of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) on an emergency Project “Restoring food security and livelihoods for vulnerable communities affected by drought in the Central – Central Highlands of Vietnam”. The meeting aims to exchange information and strengthen cooperation in implementing the Project in the coming time. Receiving the delegation were Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong – Vice Chairman of Dak Lak PPC and leaders of Departments, sectors, People’s Committees of Ea Sup, Krong Bong districts.

On September 27, Tien Phong Newspaper in coordination with Vietnam Youth Union of Krong Ana district and Green Aspiration Club organized the charity Program “Love Connection – Lifting the Steps to School” 2016 in K’rang village, Dur K’man commune, Krong Ana district. The Program was attended by Miss Phung Bao Ngoc Van - “Miss Communication”, top 10 of Miss Vietnam 2016 pageant, Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong – Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee and representatives of relevant Departments, sectors.

On September 21, Dak Lak Provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association (VJFA) held an informal talk to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (21 Sep, 1973 - 21 Sep, 2016) with the presence of representatives of the Dak Lak Provincial Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Companies, branches as well as association’s members.

The 3rd Congress in the 2016 – 2012 tenure of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province was held on September 20th with the attendance of Mr. Pham Minh Tan – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Tran Vinh Canh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Hong Liem – Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association, representatives of the Central Highlands Steering Committee, Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association of Mondulkiri province (Cambodia), Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Nong province (Vietnam), and representatives of other relevant Departments, sectors, and localities.

According to Department of Culture – Social Affairs, the Central Highlands Steering Committee, the Central Highlands Steering Committee shall coordinate with the Provincial Party Committees and the Provincial People’s Committee of five provinces in the Central Highlands to hold a Conference on praise for 200 individuals who are typical cell Secretaries, Heads and Leaders of the Fatherland Front of villages, hamlets.
