Ơn Mày 04th, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee (PPC) Phạm Ngọc Nghị chaired a Conference to evaluate the implementation of socio-economic development, defense and security in April as well as to deploy tasks of May 2017. Attending the Conference were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mr. Phạm Minh Tân; Vice chairmen of the provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments, sectors, people's committees of districts, town and city of the province.

On April 27th morning, the provincial People's Committee held a meeting in preparation for the coordination in organizing the Conference "Meeting between Republic of Korea and the Central Highlands".

An Exchange and Development Cooperation Program on tourism between Buon Ma Thuot and Thai Nguyen, hosted by Dam San Tourism Company, was held in Buon Ma Thuot City on April 12 night. Attending the exchange program were Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

On March 30, a delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Mr. Eban Y Phu held a meeting with the Party Committee of Pong Drang Commune on the occasion of their business trip to Krong Buk district.

In the morning of March 30th, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) co-organized a workshop for improvement of provincial business environment and competitive capacity in 2017. The workshop attracted the participation of the Vice Chairmen and Vice Chairwoman of PPC as well as leaders of VCCI, the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), departments, sectors and enterprises in the province.

On March 11th, a workshop on the Central Highlands Agriculture Development was held by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in coordination with the Central Highlands Steering Committee and Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA). The workshop was attended by Mr. To Lam - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security, Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee; Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Standing Vice Head of the Party Central Committee Commission for Economics; Mr. Dieu Kré - Member of the PCC, Standing Vice Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee; Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Member of the PCC, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee together with representatives of relevant ministries, provincial People's Committee, typical farmers, scientists.
