A regular press conference was held by Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and the provincial Journalists Association on May 8th.

On the morning of May 24th, the delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hieu had a meeting with Dak Lak provincial People's Committee (PPC) on the implementation and disbursement of the provincial public investment plan in 2018. Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Chairman of the PPC and other leaders of relevant departments and agencies worked with the delegation.

On the morning of May 18th, the Provincial Women’s Union (PWU) held an opening ceremony of “Women Business Start-ups 2018” in Dak Lak province. The ceremony had the participation of Mrs. H’Yim Kdoh – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of departments, sectors, enterprises, credit institutions and 400 members.

On May 10th, a mid-term conference on "urgent project for elephant conservation in Dak Lak by 2020” was held to make an evaluation related to the project performance over the past few years by Vietnam Administration of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee in Buon Ma Thuot City. The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Cao Chi Cong - Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Administration of Forestry, Mr. Vo Van Canh - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Vu Van Dong - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

On May 8th, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) had a working session with Dak Lak Produce Forestry and Food Processing Company Limited to have a discussion on the proposal for investment in the project "High-tech agricultural products, cocoa planting and processing, TH. Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) Chocolate Processing Factory". The meeting was held under the presence of Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi – Chairman of Dak Lak PPC, leaders of relevant departments, sectors and district-level people's committees of Ea Sup, Buon Don.

On the afternoon of May 04th, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee (the PPC) held a meeting to propose and introduce agricultural projects to FLC Group Joint Stock Company (FLC Group JSC) for surveying and investing in Dak Lak province. Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC Pham Ngoc Nghi; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak PPC Nguyen Hai Ninh and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities in the province.
