Buon Don Ethnic Traditional Cultural Festival was opened on March 11th with ceremonies on praying for river wharf and elephants’ health as a part of the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival which was expected by the majority of visitors.

The conference on Dak Lak investment promotion 2019 took place in Buon Ma Thuot City on March 10th, with the participation of Mr. Truong Hoa Binh – the Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong – Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Tran Tuan Anh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Le Minh Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; leaders of Ministries, central agencies, delegations of embassies, consulate generals, domestic and international investors. For Dak Lak side, the Conference had the presence of Mr. Eban Y Phu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee.

The Central Highlands Cuisine Competition have been taking place in Kotam Community Ecotourism (Buon Ma Thuot City) from March 9th – 16th, 2019 with the participation of food stalls from 5 provinces of the Central Highlands and Jeollabuk-do (Korea)

On the afternoon of March 9th, the organizing committee of the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019 organized the awarding ceremony of Vietnam’s specialty coffee 2019 with the presence of Mr. Y Giang Gry Niê Knong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of The organizing committee of Vietnam’s specialty Coffee 2019 Contest.

A workshop on Vietnam’s specialty coffee development was held in Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak) on the afternoon of March 10th with the participation of representatives of Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Vietnam Cocoa - Coffee Association, international organizations and domestic coffee producing, processing and trading businesses.

The Street Festival, which was one of the key activities expected and participated by the majority of people and visitors in the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2019, officially opened with the participation of more than 1,000 artists, beauty, actors, pupils, students, volunteers and coffee growers in the Central Highlands provinces, domestic and international art troupes on the afternoon of March 9 at the Provincial Cultural Center.
