On the afternoon of 24th March, the working group No. 1 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee met the Buon Don District Party Committee on the preparation of the Party Congress at all levels for the tenure 2020-2025.

On the afternoon of 24th March, at the office of the Buon Don District Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (the Provincial Party Standing Committee) held a ceremony to announce the decision on mobilising and appointing the Secretary of the Buon Don District Party Committee. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Nghia, Provincial Commissioner, Head of the Committee on Internal Affairs of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tu Thai Giang, Provincial Commissioner, Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot city Party Committee; Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; among others of the Buon Don District’s Party Committee.

On 21st March, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (the Provincial Party Standing Committee) held a ceremony to announce the decision on official work in Lak district. The ceremony was taken participated in by Mr. Bui Van Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. H’Kim Hoa Bya - Provincial Commissioner, Head of the Committee on Mass Mobilisation, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Le Van Tuyen - Director of the Department of Public Security together with other leaders of the Committee on Party Building of the Provincial Party Committee and Lak district.

On the morning of 18th March, in Ha Noi, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a national teleconference summarizing 10 years of implementation of the Project "National Food Security through 2020". Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh co-chaired the Conference.

On the morning of 17th March, the Assessment Council of Awarding the provincial-level titles of “People’s Teacher” and “Elite Teacher” in 2020 (the Council) held a meeting to select individuals who meet requirements to be awarded the titles of “People’s Teacher” and “Elite Teacher”. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairwoman, Head of the Council of H’Yim Kdoh.

Due to concerns over the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, on the morning of 17th March, Tay Nguyen University (TNU) issued a notice saying that its students and research students would be absent from the school from the afternoon of 17th March to prevent and control Vovid-19 epidemic except final year medical students still go to clinical practice as schedule.
