On the basis of the Party and the State’s comprehensive views on the implementation of social insurance for all, the Government has agreed to take May as “The month to propagandize the social insurance for all”. May of 2020 is the first time; therefore the social insurance sector will face many difficulties and challenges. In order to complete the assigned tasks, the Vietnam Social Security (VSS) instructed the social security authorities to be flexible, creative and maximize the initiative in accordance with practical requirements”.

On Monday morning (May 12), the Party Committee of the Department of Finance (DOF) solemnly organized the 10th Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 term. This Party Committee was chosen to organize the exemplary congress to directly the Standing Board, Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee.

On Wednesday afternoon (May 6), the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a meeting to collect opinions so as to approve the contents submitted to the extraordinary session of the 9th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021 and the contents under the PPC’s authority. Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC chaired the meeting.

On the occasion of the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020), on Friday morning (May 08th), Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in collaboration with the CPV Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission and the Party Committee of Nghe An province organized a national scientific seminar entitled “President Ho Chi Minh and the cause of national renovation, development and defense”. Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat attended the event and delivered the opening speech.

As of May 07th, 2020, the General Department of Taxation had offered 93 taxation procedures on the National Public Service Portal, reached 100% of the plan, 6 months before the deadline of the Ministry of Finance.

In recent years, in parallel with focusing on building a strong Association, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association (VCFA) of Buon Don district has implemented many practical activities, contributing to the nurture of Vietnam - Cambodia solidarity and for Vietnam – Cambodia borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
