On Tuesday morning (April 21st), concluding the working session of the National Steering Committee for Price Management, the Prime Minister stated that Vietnam is fully capable of keeping inflation below 4% targeted for this year. He also requested to reduce the price of pork to around VND60,000 per kilogram, stabilize the price of rice, and reduce price of electricity, water and other commodities.

On April 13, the delegation of the Provincial People's Committee headed by Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control visited and checked the epidemic containment of border checkpoints along the boundary. Accompanying the delegation were the leaders of the Department of Health, the Provincial Border Guard Command, Buon Ma Thuot University, Victory Primary, Secondary and High School.

On April 18th, 2020, the program “Rice distribution for the poor to fight against COVID-19” was organized in two communes of Ea Tar and Ea H’Ding by Tien Phong Newspaper Office in the Central Highlands in collaboration with the Women’s Unions of the Dak Lak Department of Public Security and the Public Security Division of Cu M'gar district. In the program, 400 households most in need of those communes were allocated with 10 kilos per household.

On Saturday (April 18), the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) co-organized a ceremony in Ha Noi to launch a remote medical examination and treatment platform developed by Viettel in collaboration with University Hospital and satellite hospitals. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and directed the ceremony.

Vietnam has basically met the demand for confirmatory testing for Covid-19, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at the meeting on Monday morning (April 20th, 2020).
