On Thursday August 06th, Dak Lak Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation held a blood donation festival "Red Drops of the Central Highlands" in Krong Pac district. More than 800 people in the area took part in and collected 580 blood units.

On August 5- 6, the Party Committee of Ea Kar District held the 9th Congress for 2020 – 2025 term with the participation of: Bui Van Cuong, member of Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Pham Minh Tan, Executive Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; members of Standing Bureau of Provincial Party Committee; representatives of departments, and sectors of the province and 244 representatives representing more than 6,400 party members.

On Saturday afternoon (August 08th), candidates in 14 districts and towns of Dak Lak province made procedures to participate in the national high school graduation exam, checked personal information and listened to exam regulations, and schedule.

On August 3, the Provincial People's Committee issued the Plan 6779/KH-UBND to implement the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) of the United Nations.

On 06th August, The Provincial Committee of Vietnam Father Land Front received funding to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province. On this occasion, Ban Me Orchids Association donated the whole amount of the orchid auction held in 2 days of 03rd - 04th August on 06 exchanges with a total amount of VND 352 million.

The Department of Transport said the unit has just issued a document on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent Covid-19.
