On the morning of February 10, the Organizing Committee for the 50th Anniversary of the Victory of Buon Ma Thuot, the Liberation of Dak Lak Province, and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 solemnly held the Launch Ceremony for the Online Competition to Understand "50 Years of the Victory of Buon Ma Thuot and the Liberation of Dak Lak Province" (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).

By 2025, Dak Lak province is focusing on completing new tourism products to stimulate the domestic tourism market. The tourism sector aims for total revenue from tourism to reach 1.6 trillion VND and total visitor arrivals to hit 2 million.

On February 2, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Dak Lak Province, Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu, announced that during the 5-day Tet holiday from January 28 to February 1, 2025 (corresponding to the 29th day of the last lunar month of the Year of the Dragon 2024 until the 4th day of the lunar New Year - the Year of the Snake 2025), the total number of tourists and revenue from tourism activities in the area saw a significant increase compared to the previous year.

On the morning of February 3, the provincial People's Committee organized a New Year's meeting to assess the situation before, during, and after the Lunar New Year festival of the Year of the Snake 2025.
