In 2024, the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province signed three new international agreements with the provincial government of Mondulkiri (Cambodia), the provincial government of Orkhon (Mongolia), and the municipal government of Nevers (France). On January 22, a delegation from Attapeu Province, Laos, visited Dak Lak Province to extend traditional Lunar New Year greetings.
