The Provincial Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search, and Rescue of the province reported that many areas have been flooded, and the damages caused by the prolonged heavy rain are increasing rapidly. As of 4:00 PM on August 1st, the districts of Lắk, Krông Ana, Ea Súp, and Krông Bông have been affected by localized flooding in some low-lying areas. A total of 4,551 hectares of crops have been submerged, including 4,012 hectares of rice, 481 hectares of flowers, 57.5 hectares of perennial trees, and 6.6 hectares of fish farming ponds. Additionally, some infrastructure facilities related to irrigation and transportation have been damaged due to landslides.

The Dak Lak Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank Dak Lak Province) recently collaborated with the Ea Kiet District People's Committee (Cu M'gar district) to organize the inauguration and handover ceremony of a classroom at the Buon H'Mong branch of Hoa Phuong Kindergarten.

On the morning of August 1st, at the District Party Committee of Ea Sup, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a meeting to announce the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on personnel work. Mr. Pham Minh Tan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

On the morning of July 26, the Provincial Party Committee organized the 67th Standing Committee Meeting to evaluate the leadership results in implementing the tasks of July and the key work program for August 2023. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

On July 27, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City organized a conference to train on the techniques of collecting, aggregating, and calculating criteria for per capita income at the commune level under the National Target Program for New Rural Development in the 2021-2025 period. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City, Tran Duc Nhat, attended and directed the conference.

On July 31st, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control, Search, and Rescue of Dak Lak province reported that prolonged heavy rains, influenced by tropical storm No.1 (TALIM), tropical storm No.2 (DOKSURI), and strong southwest winds, have led to flooding in 2,440 hectares of crops and damage to some infrastructure in the province.
