On July 7, 2016, in Buon Ma Thuot city, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Ngoc Nghi chaired the first dialogue conference for enterprises in 2016 with the attendance of Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council Y Bier Nie, Vice President of Provincial Election Committee Y Khut Nie, Vice Chairman of PPC Nguyen Tuan Ha, Vice Chairwoman of PPC H’Yim Kdoh, leaders of Dak Lak Business Association, leaders of districts, town, Departments, sectors and over 200 enterprises in Dak Lak province.

July 6, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in coordination with Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee held the knowledge sharing Workshop on Irrigation and Drainage management – Best practices from Asia. Present at the Workshop were Sanath Ranawana - Head of senior delegation of ADB, Mr. Hoang Van Thang – Deputy Minister of MARD, representatives of Agriculture and Rural Development Departments of Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong, Dak Lak provinces. Representing Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee was Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Ha.

On July 4, the 9th Provincial People’s Council for the 2016-2021 tenure convened its first meeting under the chair of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Y Bier Nie. Attending the meeting were Mr. Eban Y Phu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, representatives of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front, National Assembly delegation of Dak Lak province, departments, sectors and 85 deputies of the Provincial People’s Council.

On June 29, the Executive Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party XVI term, for the 2015 – 2020 tenure held the 5th conference (extended).

Buon Ma Thuot city’s Women's Union (WU) organized the 12th Congress of Women, 2016 – 2021 term on June 30 with the attendance of leaders of Buon Ma Thuot city Party Committee, Buon Ma Thuot city People’s Committee, Provincial Women’s Union and over 200 women from communes and wards in the city.

Regarding to administrative reforms of Customs sector and Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Customs Department has actively accelerated administrative reforms to facilitate business activities in the province.
