On December 16th, the Steering Committee of the 6th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival and Central Highland’s Gong Culture Festival in 2017 (the Festival) reviewed and evaluated preparation of the Festival with the attendance of the Steering Committee’s members, the Festival’s Organizing Committee, representatives of Ministries, sectors, Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, Central Highlands provinces, enterprises, as well as other relevant provincial departments and localities.

In the afternoon of December 16th, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a working session of the Steering Committee of the Initiative for Sustainable Landscapes Program (ISLA program) on reviewing deployed projects as well as proposing solutions and policy-making orientations in next time.

On December 15th, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a signing ceremony of media cooperation agreement with Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in the period of 2016-2021. Presenting the signing ceremony were Mr. Pham Minh Tan – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi – Chairman of the PPC, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha – Vice Chairman of the PPC, relevant Departments and sectors. VOV delegation included Mr. Nguyen The Ky – General Director of VOV and members.

After 3 days working with sense of responsibility and urgency, the 3rd Session of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Council Term IX wrapped on the afternoon of December 14th under the chair of Mr. Y Bier Nie – Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

On December 12th, the third session of the 9thDak Lak provincial People’s Council (PC) was officially opened to review situation of socio-economic development, national defense and security as well as pass some important reports, statements and resolutions. The session was presided by Mr. Y Bier Nie – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, PC Chairman cum Head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly members with the attendance of Mr. Eban Y phu - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of provincial departments, sectors, leaders of 15 city, town, and districts as well as 83 delegates of the PC.

On December 8th, the 7th Conference of Dak Lak Provincial Party Executive Committee (extended) was held by the Provincial Party Committee under the chair of Mr. Eban Y Phu – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to review the situation, results of performing tasks in 2016, to adopt the Resolution 2017 as well as other important contents.
