On August 3rd, the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a Conference chaired by Chairman of the PPC Pham Ngoc Nghi on reviewing the performance of socio-economic development task, safeguarding national defense and security in July and setting up tasks of August, 2017.

On the afternoon of August 1st, Dak Lak Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) held a ceremony to annouce the appointment Decision to its Deputy Director. The event atracted the attendance of Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi – Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Mien Klong – Director of Department of Home Affairs and DOLISA’s units, divisions.

A candle-lighting ceremony in honour of war heroes and Martyrs took place at 13 Martyrs’ Cemetery in the province of Dak Lak on July 26th to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th, 1947 – July 27th, 2017). Nearly 2,000 youngsters representing the Dak Lak youth generation took part in candle-lighting ceremonies at the Provicial Martyrs Cemetery.

Dak Lak Vietnam–Cambodia Friendship Association held a rally on July 25th to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia.

July 17th, The Provincial Steering Committee on combating smuggling, commercial frauds and counterfeiting (the 389 Provincial Steering Committee) held a preliminary conference on review of its results in the first six months and set up tasks in coming time. The Conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Standing Vice Chairman of the PPC, Head of the 389 Provincial Steering Committee.

July 12th, Wednesday morning, the delegates focused on discussing in the hall about the situation of socio-economy of the province in the early six months, content of projects, and important resolutions in the session 4th headed by Mr. Y Bier Nie – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, PC Chairman.
