On December 07th, the fifth session of the 09th Provincial People's Council continued the specialized supervisory meeting on "the observance of laws and resolutions of the provincial People's Council in the management and protection of forest and the allocation of land and forest to implement agricultural and forestry projects in the province ". The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the People's Council Y Bier Nie.

On the morning of December 05th, the Judiciary Affairs Committee of the National Assembly (JAC) held a workshop on "Some basic issues of Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments" in Buon Ma Thuot city. This is an important activity to prepare for the drafting and verification of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments (LECJ) that will be commented at the 05th session of the 14th NA.

On the morning of December 04th, a meeting chaired by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), Head of the provincial Steering Committee on reducing losses and urging the budget (the Steering Committee 1098) was held to generally review the state budget revenue and deploy tasks in the coming time.

On the morning of December 06th, delegates of the provincial People’s Council paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery before the opening ceremony of the fifth session of the 09th provincial People’s Council, 2016 – 2021 tenure. Delegates included Mr. Pham Minh Tan – Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Y Bier Nie - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and delegates of the 09th provincial People's Council, term of 2016 - 2021.

A preliminary conference chaired by Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - the PPC’s Chairman was held to sum up the results of implementing missions of the socio-economic development, security and national defense in November and deploy tasks in December 2017 on the morning of December 05th.

On the afternoon of December 05th, the provincial People's Committee (PPC) organized a meeting of the provincial PAR Steering Committee (Steering Committee) under the chair of Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - the PPC’s Chairman, Head of the Steering Committee. Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee, PPC’s Standing Deputy Chairman and representatives of Departments and sectors also attended the meeting.
