On January 10th, the Mass Mobilisation Commission of the Party Central Committee organized a tele-conference to review mass mobilization performance last year and set out tasks for 2018.

On January 10th, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Chairman of Dak Lak PPC, Professor - Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Rector of UEH as well as leaders of departments, sectors.

On the evening of December 28th, in Hanoi, the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held the ceremony of Red Star (Sao Do) Awards - Vietnamese outstanding young entrepreneurs of 2017. Participating in the ceremony were Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, member of the Party Central Committee Dao Ngoc Dung; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Le Quoc Phong.

On the evening of December 27th, the Organising Committee of the provincial Creative Science-Technology Competition organized a ceremony to sum-up and award the 6th Competition (2016-2017) with the appearance of Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Tan; Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hai Ninh, Head of the Organizing Committee.

On the afternoon of December 26th, a working session with Samjin Company, Korea was held at the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC). At the meeting, Samjin Company presented to delegates its water treatment technology, solar power and medical investment for several projects in the province.
