On February 05th, the Appraisal Council of Economic restructuring project of Dak Lak province in the period of 2017-2025 with a vision towards 2030 held a meeting to deploy tasks in 2018 and appraise the economic restructuring project in association with the transformation of the growth model to improve quality, efficiency and competitiveness in the period of 2017-2025 with a vision towards 2030. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and had the presence of members. Attending the meeting were reviewers including Assoc.Prof. Dr.Tran Dinh Thien - Director of Vietnam Institute of Economics; Assoc.Prof. Dr.Tran Tien Khai - Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics; Dr. Nguyen Dinh Cung - Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management; Dr. Nguyen Tri Dung - President of Vietnam-Japan Network.

On the afternoon of February 05th, a delegation of Attapeu province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) led by Mr. Un-La-Xay-Nha-Sit, Member of the Standing Committee, the province’s Deputy Governor visited and extended traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee (PPC). Vice Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Canh received the delegation.

In Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak provincial People's Committee (PPC) in coordination with Mondulkiri province - Kingdom of Cambodia held a conference on strengthening transboundary cooperation in forest protection and biodiversity conservation at the cross-border area between Dak Lak (Vietnam) and Mondulkiri (Cambodia) on January 29th. The conference was chaired by Mrs. H'Yim Kdoh - Vice Chairwoman of the PPC and Mr. Cheung Sochantha - Deputy Governor of Mondulkiri province. Over 40 delegates from Departments and sectors, Management Boards of National Parks, nature reserves, and wildlife sanctuary organizations in the two provinces attended the conference.

On the morning of January 26th, the provincial Steering Committee for Tourism Development (the Steering Committee) held a conference to sum up tasks 2017 and deploy its tasks in 2018. Attending the conference were members of the Steering Committee, Provincial Tourism Association, tourism businesses. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha -Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference.

A Conference on deploying tasks 2018 under the chair of Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh – Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 389 was held by the Provincial Steering Committee 389 on January 22nd.
