On May 10th, a mid-term conference on "urgent project for elephant conservation in Dak Lak by 2020” was held to make an evaluation related to the project performance over the past few years by Vietnam Administration of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee in Buon Ma Thuot City. The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Cao Chi Cong - Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Administration of Forestry, Mr. Vo Van Canh - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Vu Van Dong - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

On April 11, the delegation of the Finland Embassy to Vietnam and ActionAid, led by Ms. Annika Vilhelmina Kaipola, counselor of the Embassy, had a working session with the provincial leaders on the project “Promoting people’s participation in improvement of forest governance and poverty alleviation in Vietnam (PFG Project). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee along with leaders of departments, sectors, and People’s Committee of Krong Bong district.

February 8th, the Propaganda and Training Commission of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee (Propaganda and Training Commission) in collaboration with Dak Lak Department of Information and Communications (DIC) and Dak Lak Provincial Journalists Association held a regular press conference in March, 2018 to review the press activities over the past month and direct the propaganda orientation in next months. On the morning of April 02nd, the provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a regular meeting to evaluate steering results of the PPC and its Chairman; the implementation of socio-economic development targets and national defence and security in Q1; contemporaneously, accouncing tasks in Q2 2018. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC. Also attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Vinh Canh, leaders of the PPC and provincial departments, branches and localities.

The meeting was chaired by Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hai Ninh with the participation of representatives from Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Youth Union, Dak Lak Young Entrepreneur Association, PPC’s Office.
