On August 23rd, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in collaboration with the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee (PPC), Friedrich Naumann Foundation Viet Nam held a regional conference on international integration and sustainable development in the new situation, issues set for localities and businesses. The conference had the participation of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Tan, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Canh, Assistant to the Foreign Minister Nguyen Van Thao, experts from the Vietnam Institute of Economics, Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development, VCCI and more than 50 delegates from the Central Highlands and South Central provinces.

The provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a meeting to make comments on the organization of the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019 on August 7th, under the chair of Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Chairman of the PPC and the participation of Vice Chairmen of the PPC, leaders of relevant departments, sectors and district-level People's Committees of Lak, Buon Don.

On August 10th, the provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a ceremony to launch the Dak Lak Start-up workspace and Start-up contest 2018. The ceremony had the participation of Mrs. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training; Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Standing Deputy Chairman of the PPC; leader of Viettel Dak Lak, Departments, sectors, Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and enterprises.

The organizing committee and assistance subcommittees of Start–up contest 2018 held a meeting to review the implementation progress of contest on August 3rd, under the chair of Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), who is also Head of the committee.

On the morning of August 6th, the Party Central Committee’s (PCC) Commission for Organization held a national online conference on “Building up an effective public administration apparatus”.

On the afternoon of August 4th, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) led by Minister Phung Xuan Nha had a working session with leaders of Dak Lak province on results of the implementation of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4th, 2013 of the 11thParty Central Committee on the "fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training" and orientations for the development of education and training in Dak Lak province in the coming time.
