The Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a meeting on the afternoon of April 02nd to review the province’s planning process for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050 (the Planning Process) and handle some issues relating to planning process in Buon Ma Thuot city area. The meeting was chaired by the Standing Deputy Chairman Nguyen Tuan Ha, Head of the Steering Committee for the Planning Process.

On the morning of 05th February, the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a meeting to implement the prevention and control of acute respiratory infection caused by the new strain of Corona virus (nCoV). Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Tan and Vice Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC Pham Ngoc Nghi co-presided over the meeting.

Responding to the movement of planting trees to protect the environment, Trung Nguyen Investment Joint Stock Company - Trung Nguyen Legend Group held the ceremony on the Lunar New Year Tree Planting on the morning of 02nd February, 2020, combining with rewarding winners of the Rượu Cần (Stem liquor or straw liquor) Brewing Contest. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, leaders of the Department, branches and artisans, local residents, and competing teams attended the event.

On the morning of January 25th, (the first day of the Lunar New Year - the Year of the Rat), program “Begin a new Spring” was held at Dam San Hotel by Buon Ma Thuot city in order to welcome first foreign tourists to Dak Lak on the occasion of Lunar New Year’s Day.

The Provincial Labour Confederation (LaCo) on the morning of January 16, organised the programme “Tet Reunion 2020” under the theme of “Celebrating the Spring – Celebrating the Party” for labourers working in Ea Dar Industrial Complex (Ea Kar district).

The Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and her working delegation on January 14 paid a visit to the Mobile Training Battalion of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard in Krong Na commune, Buon Don district.
