On Friday afternoon (August 07th), Executive Provincial Party Committee held a Conference to announce the Decision of the Standing Bureau of Provincial Party Committee on government officials. Attending the meeting were Executive Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Mr. Pham Minh Tan and leaders of relevant departments, agencies and sectors.

On Thursday morning (August 6), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and presided over a video conference on the action plan to implement the Vietnam-European Union Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) in Ha Noi. Attending the conference were Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and several Cabinets ministers. Attending the conference in Dak Lak province were Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Canh and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

In these days, along with many localities across the country, Buon Don district has been urgently preparing for the organization of the 2020 High School Graduation Examination. The 2020 High School Graduation Examination will take place from August 8 to August 10, 2020. In Buon Don district, there are 01 exam centers located at Buon Don High School and 2 reserve centers at Ho Tung Mau Secondary School and Tran Dai Nghia High School.

Information from Buon Ma Thuot Airport announced, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, flights departure and arrival Buon Ma Thuot were suspended until the end of August or when the epidemic will be under control.

On Friday afternoon (August 7th), provincial People's Committee held a reception ceremony to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic. Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention, fight against and control Covid-19 H’Yim Kdoh; leaders of departments and sectors.

Dak Lak has completed the party congress at grassroots level at 684 among 701 Party grassroots organizations, reaching 97.5%. For the district-level Party Congress, three units successfully organized the Congress including (Krong Pac District, Cu Kuin District, the Military Party Committee of Dak Lak). The party committees of district and equivalent would complete their congress before August 30, 2020. Besides ensuring quality, quantity and structure of human resources, the Party Congress at all levels must build up a Resolution which is suitable for local situation and people's aspirations. Since then, each party committee can determine a breakthrough development direction in the 2020-2025 term.
