The Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) held a national teleconference on the morning of December 30th to review the home affairs sector’s five-year performance (2016-2020) and deploy tasks for 2021 with the participation of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.

General Statistics Office of Dak Lak held a press conference to announce socio-economic statistics in 2020. In 2020, despite being affected and strongly influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the socio-economic development situation of the province has been maintained stability thanks to the leadership and drastic direction of Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, the consensus and determination of the entire Party, people and armed force. Specifically, economic growth maintained at a positive level, reaching 3.63%, bringing Dak Lak to rank the 30th out of 63 cities and provinces across the country.

On December 24, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held an online conference to implement tasks in 2021 at Vietnam Social Security and 63 provinces and centrally-run cities, 646 districts with the participation of Mr. Vu Duc Dam, member of the CPV Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) held a ceremony to award prizes to winners in the Students and Start-up Ideas Competition in 2020 (SV.STARTUP – 2020). The students from Hoang Viet Primary, Secondary, High School (Dak Lak) won the First Prize and bagged 30 million VND with the project “Producing and trading drinking straws from avocado seeds”.
