In 2024, the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province signed three new international agreements with the provincial government of Mondulkiri (Cambodia), the provincial government of Orkhon (Mongolia), and the municipal government of Nevers (France). These agreements not only expand opportunities for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, tourism, health care, and culture but also strengthen friendly relations, establishing a solid foundation for sustainable cooperative development.

On January 22, a delegation from Attapeu Province, Laos, visited Dak Lak Province to extend traditional Lunar New Year greetings. The group was led by Mr. Bun Sot - Set Thi Lat, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, who is also the Chairman of the Laos - Vietnam Friendship Association.
