A ceremony was held in Champasak province (Laos) on August 31st to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam-Laos diplomatic relations and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Viet Nam-Laos Treaty on Amity and Cooperation.

On the morning of August 14th, a working delegation of the Government Steering Committee for Administrative Reform led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, examined administrative reform work in Cu M'gar district and Traffic Police Division, Dak Lak Provincial Public Security. Participating with the delegation, there were Director of Dak Lak Provincial Public Security Tran Ky Roi, Director of Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs Mien Klong as well as leaders of relevant agencies and localities.

On the morning of August 11th, Dak Lak Provincial Taxation Department held a commendation conference to honour 327 prominent organizations and individuals who have excellently implemented tax policies and laws in 2016.

On the morning of August 10th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to study, thoroughly grasp and implement the Politburo's Conclusion No. 10-KL/TW and the 12th Secretariat of the Central Committee Communist Party’s Conclusion No. 11-KL/TW.

At the end of the first working day, with a high responsible spirit, the 11th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Congress of Dak Lak province elected 45 comrades to its Executive Committee for the term 2017-2022.
