On April 1, 2019, the People’s Committee of Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city held a launch ceremony to kick off the 2019 national census of population and housing in the ward. On March 28, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee in coordination with the Commission for Economic Affairs held a national-level Workshop on evaluating the results of implementing the Conclusion No.60-KL/TW on November 27th, 2009 of the Politburo on building and developing Buon Ma Thuot City into a primary urban in the Central Highlands in the period of 2010-2020 and the strategy of building and developing Buon Ma Thuot city to become a primary urban in the Central Highlands by 2030 with a vision to 2045.
