The forum introduced an overview of development potential, competitive advantages, and a list of priority projects for investment attraction in the South Central Laos region, thereby providing practical information for investors in seeking and selecting cooperation opportunities. At the same time, it created a space for direct dialogue between state management agencies and the business community to identify difficulties and obstacles in investment, trade, and tourism activities between Vietnam and the South Central Laos region, proposing solutions and coordination mechanisms to improve the investment environment and promote effective and sustainable cooperation.

The Dak Lak delegation explored notable agricultural products showcased at the fair.
Within the framework of the forum, through meetings and presentations, new cooperation opportunities in the fields of investment, trade, and tourism were opened. Two thematic discussion sessions, titled "The Gateway to the South Central Laos Market" and "Promoting Cross Border Cooperation," contributed to creating an open exchange space between state management agencies and the business community. Through this, the parties jointly identified challenges and obstacles in the process of investment, trade, and tourism development cooperation between Vietnam and the South Central Laos region, while proposing solutions to promote regional economic connectivity and effectively exploit the potential of the East West Economic Corridor.
On this occasion, the organizers also inaugurated the 2026 Trade and Tourism Fair, featuring over 40 booths to promote and introduce notable goods and services from localities and businesses of both countries. Dak Lak Province participated with a booth showcasing various notable agricultural products such as coffee varieties, macadamia nuts, honey, fish sauce, seafood specialties, turmeric tablets, and more from local enterprises.
The forum contributed to strengthening cooperation with localities and international partners, promoting trade, investment, and sustainable tourism development.
